Construction update as of 19 June 2009
Civil & Structural Works for Phase 1 (sub-structure of Corporate Center) was awarded to EEI Corporation and they mobilized last July 2008. First concrete pouring was done last 30 July 2008, witnessed by the Owner, Project Manager, Contractors and Representatives from RCBC & PagIbig. Structural works for the substructure (foundation/basements to Ground Floor Level) of the Corporate Center was already completed last April 2009.
Civil & Structural Works for the Sky Suites & superstructure of Corporate Center is currently being negotiated with EEI for immediate award so there will be uninterrupted construction of the entire structure to assure completion on the targeted Schedule. Although the Contract is still in its finalization stage, EEI has already started with the structural works for the superstructure of the Corporate Center. To date, structural works for the Corporate Center is now at the Podium 1 Level.
While structural works for the Corporate Center is on-going, excavation for Sky Suites is being done simultaneously. Said excavation will be completed by the end of June 2009. Structural works for Sky Suites (starting with the foundation) is already on going.
Architectural Works will be handled by Jagnusten Corporation and Electro-Mechanical Works will be awarded to the winning Bidders by the first week of July 2009.
All Plans & Drawings – Structural, Architectural, Electrical & Auxiliary, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Protection and Ventilating & Airconditioning – have been finalized and coordinated. All necessary Construction Permits & Clearances have been secured.
